We are currently in production of a 2009 calendar of HOT Texas female firefighters in order to raise funds to donate
to Parkland Burn Center. These are all full time, paid, female firefighters, who volunteer their time
to raise the funds. All proceeds will be donated. Check this site, in the future, to see what events we will be
attending, so that you can come by and meet your favorite girl!!!

Our fund raising focus for the 2009 calendar
will be for a program called Angel Faces. Angel Faces is an annual retreat that teaches girls how to increase self-confidence,
and improve their self image while embracing their trauma and facial differences. The retreat offers life skills training
and helps to establish new friendships with other girls experiencing the same challenges.
More than 20 girls, from around the country, attend the retreat
each year in southern California. Parkland sends 2-3 girls who have suffered facial disfigurements, due to burns, to
the retreat. Our fund-raising efforts will help pay for the costs associated with sending girls from the North Texas
region to the retreat in California.
